The zoo is four trails (measuring 2½ miles in total) that wind through many habitats represented on this 125-acre chunk of land, so you’ll never run out of interesting places for them.
The Phoenix Zoo is home to a variety of animals, including baboons, Sumatran tigers, and elephants. Visitors can enjoy watching the Komodo dragons from their carousel or feeding time for tortoises in their outdoor habitat. The Phoenix Zoo is home to over 1,400 animals, including multiple endangered species. It’s specifically well known for its orangutans and Sumatran tigers, who call this amazing place their sanctuary from the dangers in their wild habitat.

There are also numerous other attractions around this wonderful park, like safaris by train, that will give adults plenty of time off work while giving kids something productive to do during spring break vacation.

Phoenix Zoo is a true wonderland for any animal lover. You’ll see all sorts of animals in their natural habitats. Some travelers were disappointed about having additional costs when riding the safari train or going on a 4-D theater ride, but these options are still worth it because you get so much beauty in this wonderful zoo.

For those looking for more traditional entertainment, they can take advantage of splash pads and play areas in addition to children’s programs throughout the summer months.
